Mark Bange is a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. He lives on the Pasadena peninsula between the Patapsco and Magothy Rivers.  He has been an avid fly angler for over 40 years.  He began kayak fishing in 2011 when he retired from a 34-year career at the National Security Agency. He discovered then that a kayak and a fly rod make a perfect pairing, especially when perusing local tidal waters and Eastern Shore millponds.  He has written two books on the topic both of which are available on Amazon:  The Simple Joys of Kayak Fishing and Fly by the Seat of your Kayak.  Also, he has written fly fishing articles for “FishTalk” and “PropTalk” magazines.  And he has contributed articles to “Maryland’s Fly Fishing Trail”, https://fishandhuntmaryland.com/marylands-fly-fishing-trail an online resource for anglers seeking fly fishing opportunities in the Free State. He is a member of the White Clay Fly Fishers and a past president and current member of the Free State Fly Fishers in Annapolis. Mark has been married to his wife Linda for 45 years.  Together they have a son and daughter and four grandchildren.
